Pinnegar Hayward Design LLP was formed in 1992 (formerly Pinnegar Smith Architects) with the aim of developing a comprehensive Architectural service to Clients. With its head office in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, PHd has enjoyed controlled growth and is currently designated medium (small) by RIBA.

The two founding Partners were joined in 2013 by two new Partners to reinforce our management team, approach to projects and expand the Practice’s profile.

PHd provides a wide range of services relating to most aspects of a Client's property related needs, including:

- Architecture/Master Planning
- Interior Design/Space Planning/Utilization
- CDM Co-ordination
- Project Management

We are equally equipped to deal with minor works as well as major projects and are experienced in all procurement methods, having worked successfully in traditional roles, management contracting and design and build.

The practice is RIBA Chartered & RIAI Registered offering services to the industry as a whole, but we specialise in:

The Practice success has been achieved by continual attention to Client service. PHd provides all clients with a high degree of project ownership, with the emphasis on design, delivery and cost.
Over 90% of commissions are "repeat orders" from Clients where we aim to achieve continuous working relationships. The Practice provides an efficient and professional service tailored to suit the individual needs of our Clients.
