TFA Architects was formed in 1998 by the merger of Tom Freake Associates and Ken Bruce Chartered Architects, two like-minded practices operating in the same field of work. The directors have accumulated over forty years experience within private practice and developer's offices specialising in residential design.

Based in North Cheshire near to the M56 & M6 and Liverpool and Manchester airports, we are able to cover a wide geographical area. The three directors run the office and take a hands-on approach in the design and management of all projects. In addition to the directors we have a team of experienced technical staff. We are a tight-knit team of sufficient size to run large projects but with the flexibility to respond to changing demands. A pragmatic commercial approach is employed in design and dealing with local authorities
