I have been a sole practitioner since 1996 and specialise mostly in refurbishment projects. Although, I have had expererience of education and commerical building types too.

Most of my clients have also commissioned me to do the Interior Design as well as architecture.

For almost 3 years I practised in Algarve Portugal and gained a great deal of experience in designing for warmer climates using local materials and building methods. One of projects was on a historical site with permission applied for an up-market mixed development.

Whilst practising architecture I have also worked as sessional lecturer at the Women in Building Institute in Ladbroke Grove.

As a sole practitioner, it is very important to network actively. As a result of it, most of the work I get, is through recommendation by other architects, friends and peers.

Many of the projects I have been commissioned to do have had the same client. This to me is the best reference any professional can hope to have.
