The practice was formed in 1988 by Tony Garnett and John Netherwood and soon the company developed into one of the leading architectural practices in Yorkshire. The practice has grown with John and Tony being joined by Leighton Williams and Nick Barnes as fellow directors in 2005.

The firm has a considerable track record in commercial architecture including supermarkets, offices, industrial, healthcare, residential and leisure projects and was awarded the Best
Architects 2005 prize at the Yorkshire Property Awards. The practice has also been awarded several other design awards from new build office projects to listed building refurbishment
projects.

A thriving company with a depth of experience, we are committed to the highest standards of design, professionalism and service to demanding clients.

Flexibly organised and with an emphasis on director involvement throughout all project stages, we are able to respond quickly and positively to the demands of an increasingly competitive commercial environment and to undertake projects throughout the UK.

At Garnett Netherwood Architects, we believe that it is important to provide continuous contact throughout the life of a project. Projects are not passed from one person or team to another, which ensures continuity through the entire project life cycle in order to ensure that schemes are developed in a consistent way providing the highest levels of service for our clients.
