The practice has always had a variety of work comprising of a mixture of residential, education, commercial, community and refurbishment projects including work on listed buildings and in Conservation Areas, all of which receive a high degree of attention from the directors to provide quality buildings and a personal service.

The practice comprises three Architect directors, one Architect, one architecturally trained assistant and secretarial staff. The practice believes that the personal control of projects is important for the quality of work it strives to achieve. We are members of the Association of Planning Supervisors and are able to carry out duties on behalf of clients under the Health and Safety Construction (Design & Management) Regulations (1994).

The practice works in a friendly, approachable and collaborative manner, no task being too much trouble.

The majority of our works come from repeat commissions and recommendation. The philosophy of the practice is that we provide a personal service working with the client to achieve the best solution to their need.

Clients are from a variety of sectors including private individuals, public and limited companies, Schools and Colleges, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and Design Build Contractors

The practice is also well experienced in working within conservation areas, listed buildings and sensitive planning issues. Mark Penfold is also chair of the North East Hampshire Architects Panel.
