Aerial visual is classified as photomontage. It is a term that used when the existing site photograph taken from above is digitally overlayed by computer generated images to create the illusion of the building or mostly a site already having been completed. This would be the best method in showing interaction of the proposed scheme into a real site photograph so the impression of a the final design within its actual context can be provided. To be able to match the existing photograph, the 3d graphic would be carefully generated with similar lighting exposure, camera position, and go through the final retouching to adjust the final color tone so it can perfectly blends with the existing photograph. Therefore a suitable photograph of the site need to be taken to ensure quality of the final image. Similar to Photo Real imagery, Photomantage typicaly used for planning application and marketing tool.
