The existing house is a semi-detached Victorian villa type property and is the last house in a row of similar houses.

The clients brief was for a two storey side extension and a large rear conservatory extension. The side extension accomodates a new single garage and utility room with two new bathrooms and a dressing room above.

The side extension required the acquisition of a side strip of land. The gentle double curved side wall to the conservatory brings the property back to its original boundary line and has become a much appreciated feature of the design.

The extensively glazed conservatory provides a transitional space between the living room and garden and accomodates large numbers of people for regular and well attended parties.
