Kevin Fellingham Architecture

Kevin Fellingham Architecture + Urbanism is a growing practice which has as its goal the careful integration of innovative architecture and urbanism with the built and natural environment. We work at a variety of scales, from furniture through to landscape masterplanning, and a cross a wide diversity of fields. We have experience in the residential, arts, education and urban regeneration sectors.

The built environment embodies the energy and efforts of the environment and of society. As such we believe it imperative to design buildings and places that will last, will adapt easily to changes of use, make use of relevant technology, and whilst respecting their context have a strong presence of their own.

We seek wherever possible to bring architecture into an intimate dialogue with the natural environment, through the integration of interiors and exteriors, the design of gardens, through understanding how the sun moves through the sky, how breezes can be encouraged, draughts excluded and winds deflected. We work hard to limit energy use of our buildings, and to build at densities that resist sprawl.
